Tatyana Trusz was born and raised in Ontario and obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Criminology and Justice at The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (Ontario Tech University). It was here where she found her niche for law and her dedication for helping people. She immediately then went on to obtain a Corporate Law Clerk and Graduate Certificate at Seneca College. She, thereafter, received her professional accreditation and became a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. She gained invaluable experience working in the legal field in both the private and public sectors such as working for the Ministry of Attorney General Legal Services Branch.  

She then went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Bond University, one of Australia’s top law schools in 2015, where she studied both International and Canadian legal systems. She became the executive research assistant for the Dean’s office where she part took in research and innovation for various projects for the Vice Chancellor.

Tatyana completed her articles at a prestigious corporate commercial litigation firm in Toronto’s Financial District, working on cases involving complex litigation and corporate transactions some of which garnished news coverage. Through these experiences, she was able to take on a position as counsel for a prominent law firm in Toronto where she gained her experience in criminal law, continuing her practice in corporate and commercial law, until starting Trusz Law in 2018.

Throughout her career, her work has focused on various aspects of litigation and transactional matters. She has devoted her life to providing the absolute highest level of service possible to her clientele. Tatyana passionately and fiercely advocates and fights for your interests in any legal matter.

Tatyana has frequently appeared as counsel and argued for the rights of her clients before Masters and Judges at all levels of court in Ontario for motions and trials, as well as the Court of Appeal and Federal Court of Canada. Tatyana has successfully advocated on behalf of several clients at Small Claims Court trials, achieving exemplary results.

Tatyana has been highly praised by many of her clients for her advocacy skills in court. She is often also known for her positive approach in endeavoring to negotiate and mediate issues for her clients. Working diligently to achieve the highest outcome for her clients considering their finances, goals and time is her top priority.

In her spare time, you can find her engaging in kick boxing, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.
